The Dances Bay light show will run 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily, including weekends, concluding on Jan. 1. The light show is held in southern Pasquotank County, North Carolina and includes participation by more than 30 neighborhood residences. Two homes combine to feature more than a half-million lights. Along the tour there will be designated walkways where visitors can exit their vehicles and walk through sections of the yard displays. The walkways will offer photo opportunities, such as a one-of-a-kind 30-foot Santa Claus lighthouse that was once displayed inside the former Southgate Mall. A life-sized gingerbread house and a retired Pasquotank County fire truck decked out in colorful lights will also be on site. On the weekends, the lights display will feature events like hot chocolate with Santa, mule and carriage rides and a Christmas-themed petting zoo, similar to last year’s zoo. Residents can keep up with planned events by visiting the Dances Bay Christmas Light Show Facebook and website. There is no charge to view the display, but donations will be accepted. Very nice light show. Great for the kids and family as they have different interactive events and things to do while visiting. Part of the show is synced to fun christmas music. We saw santa and got to visit their christmas petting zoo. Lots of lights and decorations in the display. Highly recommend!
Love all the kids activities outside and they open their house up to see and play with toy trains. House is decorated inside and out.
Best light display in our area. Great to see the neighborhood participating in the light display giving out candy canes.
It is very family oriented and lots of activities for the kids including petting zoo, Santa, and crafts. Hot Chocolate and cookies were offered. Great time and everyone enjoys photos by the lighthouse.

This family does an amazing job every year. Definitely worth going out of your way to visit. This beautiful home captures the spirit of Christmas. Very unique and nicely displayed.
Amazing, the kids love the different interactive areas. Its a whole drive thorough display. Its makes everyones christmas better and gives people something to do during christmas. Best display we have seen!
This was the highlight of our christmas seeing the lights. And it gets better as this family offers a wonderful tour of their front and side yard and adds photo opportunities- even up into their garage with the perfect arch, a swing bench and even a perfect Christmas chair by a Christmas tree. They have activities all month like a petting zoo and visiting with Santa! Very friendly and respectful young man running the show and believe me I was impressed.
Beautiful light show, definitely worth the drive. Everyone on the street was super sweet. The whole light show is interactive and fun for the kids and adults to.
